BA Easter Strike?

The Possibility of a British Airways strike have increased as talks about the new BA airline OpenSkies have stalled. BA staff are unhappy with the new working practices BA have proposed for their new venture.

BA existing staff conditions are unaffected however the union claims that it may drive down conditions for all pilots.

BA has said it would seek a court injunction to prevent industrial action if the union set dates for strikes.

OpenSkies is due to commence its service with daily flights to New York direct from Paris and Brussels from June this year.
UPDATE – The Union have now stated there will be NO industrial action over the Easter period.  11/3
